ABOUT

Matice was born in Killeen, Texas but has spent much of her life in St. Louis, Mo.  She attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  She then earned a Masters of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

The Product of My Selfishness: The Stutter and The Story is the first book written by Matice.  As someone who stutters, she wanted to encourage and educate stutterers and non-stutterers alike.  Keeping with that same mission, she started a YouTube channel in 2017.  Through YouTube, she has a platform that spans six of the seven continents.  (She is determined to find someone who stutters in Antarctica!)

Outside of touching hearts and lives through her book and YouTube, Matice loves adventure and travel.  When she is not physically traveling, she likes to "travel" vicariously through the characters in the books she reads.  But, no matter what she is doing or where she is going, Matice lives by two mottos: "Progress, not perfection," and "Onward and upward."  Always, in all ways.
